Urine Collection for
Calcium/Creatinine Ratio

• 1 x 70ml Yellow-top Container.
  Available from any Clinical Labs collection centre or your doctor.

• Fasting for 12 hours is recommended.
• The test must begin before 10:00am.
• On arrival at the Clinical Labs collection centre (or at home if container and instructions have been picked up ahead of time), please empty your bladder into the toilet and discard this sample.
• Fasting then continues until a second urine sample can be collected.
  NOTE: Urine flow may be promoted by drinking one glass (250ml) of water.
• Write your surname, first given name, date of birth and the date/time of collection on the container label.
• Please deliver the completed sample to a Clinical Labs collection centre as soon as possible.
